Future Direction: Outplacement

Considerable changes in strategy, focus, role definitions and organisational structures are under way in both private sector companies and across the public sector. Inevitably some senior staff in procurement and supply chain will be seeking alternative employment and “future direction”.

We provide counselling and coaching, by experienced facilitators, in this challenging area of outplacement across three distinct stages. This is done on a very flexible, quarter-day basis. Individual self-assessment

Coaching and skills development

  • Tailored feedback and advice on creating compelling CVs and self-marketing.
  • Interview coaching, training and feedback covering style and content.
  • Input on how to build a network and secure appropriate endorsements and referrals.
  • Using market salary intelligence and negotiating job offers.
  • Establishing credibility in new or different roles.

Action planning and implementation

Client Need Re-establishing equilibrium and maintaining motivation throughout a period that can be both stressful and disorientating. Securing support, counselling and positive challenge.

  • Identification and selection of preferred "future direction" options.
  • Creation of self-marketing plan, targeted by sector and organisation.
  • Access to research information, search specialists, web sites and networks.
  • Producing networking plans and involvement in networking groups.
  • Ongoing support throughout the job search and re-entry process.
