Leadership Coaching

We actively support the leadership development of CPOs, VPs Supply Chain and senior procurement staff through a full coaching service and wide range of interventions focused on life skills, high performance, leadership behaviours, strategy challenge and best practice. There are two important features in what we do.

Different Coaching Methods for Different Competencies

We offer proven methodologies, both conventional and radical, provided by specialist coaches, accredited facilitators and occupational psychologists. We adopt a flexible approach for different competencies.
  • Leading Self.  Getting behind the mask that the leader presents to the world, and dealing directly with the person beneath.  Going beyond the comfort zone to provoke, encourage and support change.
  • Leading Others. Strengthening impact, delivery style and influencing skills in a way that is compelling and authentic. Working with clients to boost confidence and credibility in engaging and challenging stakeholders.
  • Leading Strategy. Working with the hard, analytical side of strategy in line with procurement and supply chain best practice. Providing experts, researchers and thought leaders that really add value to strategy creation.
  • Leading the Function. Building, renewing, motivating, challenging and managing a high performance team in procurement. Taking generic competencies and relating them to your specific procurement initiatives.
  • Leading Change. Working on the soft side of strategy in order to facilitate more effective and sustainable mobilisation. This draws together the other four competencies into a holistic approach.

Integrating Assessment and Coaching with Situational Leadership

In the same way that different competencies call for different types of coaching intervention, so there is a wide range of leadership situations, requiring a tailored approach, including:
  • Succession Planning. Supporting high potential staff moving into more senior roles.
  • Aspirational Leadership. Stretching successful leaders to go beyond current aspirations.
  • Performance Acceleration. Raising the effectiveness of individuals and leadership teams.
  • Dealing with Barriers. Supporting leaders as they overcome obstacles and blocks to change.
  • Behavioural Development. Addressing behaviours identified as gaps in current competence.
  • Team Development. Increasing effectiveness and business alignment of the leadership team.
  • Mobilisation and Deployment. Working with leaders as they grapple with large scale change.
