Led 70 strong client/consultant team to create and implement breakthrough strategies involving major supply chain redesign that resulted in 22% cost reductions, with 5% cost out in year one. $15m of quick wins created an immediate 5:1 ROI.

    Pharmaceutical 1: Designed pilot SRM programme for this global pharma client and programme directed the implementation with 6 key direct material suppliers. 400 plus opportunities identified covering cost reduction, risk reduction and revenue generation. 30% opportunities implemented within 3 months

    Financial Services 1: Programme managed a rapid diagnostic exercise in Europe and the US. Team of eight delivered €30M savings in 4 months for a global banking group based in the Netherlands. Categories in scope included IT contracting, IT consultancy, travel, marketing print and legal services.

    Pharmaceutical: Designed and rolled out a new category management and category planning process involving 15 key procurement staff. Ran a quick wins savings programme delivering 12% savings over 4 month period. Coached and facilitated 6 category teams to deliver 24% savings over a 12 month period. Also introduced more advanced supplier management tools to the business.

    Biotechnology: Worked with client design team to create an easy to use sourcing process that was rolled out across the entire Purchasing network in Europe, USA and China training 40+ Purchasing category managers in its use. FP facilitated 16 category projects delivering savings in excess of 10%. Remote coaching of US and China staff was facilitated by phone, email and face to face visits.

    Manufacturing: Worked with client team to design and implement a new comprehensive category management methodology with practical tools and templates. Trained more than 150 procurement staff and stakeholders in the UK and USA to run a series of 25 cross functional category projects. These projects delivered £100m plus savings over three years – equivalent to 12% annual savings.
