  • Our client wished to realise the full potential of the purchasing function by implementing a suite of Category management and SRM processes & behaviours.
  • In particular the head of Procurement wanted to give the team best practice tools and techniques to help them influence the business not just to achieve savings, but also to increase revenue and reduce risk across a variety of categories.
  • Using the Future Purchasing guides and templates as a basis we created a bespoke category management and SRM excellence handbook for the client.
  • Using this handbook, FP designed & ran an interactive 3 day workshop covering every aspect of the new category management process with small teams working on real project issues in Marketing, IT and Facilities categories.
  • FP designed and ran a 1:1 leadership coaching day on Supplier relationship management approaches & Strategy.
  • Successful launch to Category management programme.
  • A full suite of templates which were ready to use post training.
  • Category managers trained and ready to apply category management best practice throughout the organisation.
