Global Benchmarking 2007  –  Strategic Supplier Management

  We are sure that the study will be of real value to all purchasing and supply management professionals.  We recognise how much of that value is down to the participants' readiness to share their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of maximising value from initiatives between purchasers and major suppliers.  
  Purpose of the Survey  
  We had two main aims in preparing the survey:  
 
1.To assess the current status of strategic supplier management and its contribution to organisational success.
2.To provide a practical benchmarking report on relationship management capability.
 
  Results from the Survey  
  With 891 respondents from both the buy side and sell side involved in the private and public sectors, it is the largest survey undertaken on this topic.
